- HVAC - Significant rebates are offered on energy efficient air conditioners, and heat pumps. To make such investments more affordable Maryland offers loans for energy efficient improvements.
- $3000 grants for first time installation of geothermal systems are available from the Maryland Energy Administration. This can be coupled with federal tax rebates of 30% on ENERGY STAR geothermal equipment and installation.
- Quick Home Energy Check Up or Home Performance with ENERGY STAR are two ways you could save money. See which would be most suitable for your home.
- For households whose income is at 200% of the poverty level or below, Maryland offers programs including free installation of energy saving products.
